Adaptable, patient, still - just some of the best things about getting older. I listened to a inspiring teaching earlier today on Psalms 46:10, where we are told to “Be still, and know that I am God;”. What I appreciated about the lesson was the context that was given for the scripture. God didn’t say this when times were easy and relaxed. No, He gives this message during a time of great fear and anxiety. It is so easy for me to get stirred up with anxiety that I really appreciate every reminder that God is in charge and not one minute of worry on my part is going to change what is to come. I hope each of you finds joy in the day of gratitude that we have set aside this week. Whether you are with family or sharing a meal only virtually - know that Nora and I are thankful for you and all the good you do in our community. You are very special.
Safety Reminder
The CDC has made a few updates and one that impacts us is the request that all of our clients wear a mask when we are within 6 feet of them. This in in addition to you wearing a mask and apron. If you have any concerns or questions, please give us a call. I know the mask is difficult with some of our clients, so call and we can explore alternatives.. Thank you for your diligent attention to safety. We continue to be blessed with healthy caregivers and seniors even during this second surge.
