Our goal at Managed Senior Care is for you to always feel comfortable that you have the training and tools you need to be successful with all clients. If you have been with us awhile, you might not have sampled our new Training Catalog that we implemented last year in the middle of the Covid shutdown. Our new vendor, Care Academy, has conveniently placed it’s video training courses inside the ClearCare Go app and formatted them for your phone. It’s easier than ever to get immediate training on a subject area you are curious about.
Just some of the courses in our new catalog, include: Assisting with Personal Care thru ADLs; Safety Precautions & Fall Prevention; Communicating with a Person with Dementia; Assisting with Bathing; Overview of Transfers & Mobility Equipment. For a full class catalog, click here.
Most of our group contracts require that our caregivers complete 2 training events every year. Historically, we have conducted these training sessions in person. New this year, we are able to make an alternative method available for you to complete your training.
Our next InPerson training event is Nov 11 at 6pm here at our offices. If you are not able to attend this event, just text the Office and let them know which 2 classes you are interested in and we will enroll you. Most classes are 1 hour due to the state Continuing Education requirements.
Additionally, now that we have this easy to use training program, you will see that courses are periodically assigned to you during the year. Stay tuned and as always ask the office if you have any questions.
We are excited to resume our Quarterly in-person training and socializing events for the caregivers of Managed Senior Care. Our event will be Thursday, Nov 11 at 6pm at our offices in St. Isidore.
The training portion of the evening counts against your mandatory 2 training events of the year.
To the extent possible, we are going to try to coordinate sharing the training through a live Zoom video option for those unable to attend in person. Please watch your email for your calendar Invite and RSVP how you plan on joining us. Zoom info will be sent soon.
